“Today’s election bill test vote in US Senate to end debate on the For the People Act was a win for North Carolina.

By squelching this bad voting legislation, North Carolina’s two US Senators support the North Carolina General Assembly’s proper role to create and enforce election law. 

Democrats want to mandate a Federal takeover of North Carolina’s local elections. Instead, Richard Burr and Thom Tillis stood for the freedom and right of State lawmakers to shape what is the best interest of our citizens.

There was a principle worth defending.
